Major Official Visitor Weekend
Oregon is set to host a plethora of its top targets this weekend. Among some of the biggest names in Eugene this weekend are: Richard Wesley, Brandon Arrington, Tyler Atkinson, Calvin Russell III, Joey O’Brien, and Jett Washington. The Ducks will host both Tristan Phillips and Xavier Lherisse on return visits, and Oregon already holds verbal commits from both of them.
Three of these players have upcoming commitments; Joey O’Brien will commit June 20th, Calvin Russell July 5th, and Brandon Arrington July 5th. Richard Wesley committed to Oregon before backing off of his verbal commitment 17 days later, but the Ducks are still in a fantastic spot for him, and I think Wesley returning this weekend speaks volumes. Atkinson also doesn’t have a commitment date, like Wesley, and the Ducks are fighting Georgia, Ohio State, Clemson, and Alabama. Notably, Atkinson hasn’t scheduled an official visit to Georgia yet, who has been the leader for some time. Jett Washington was a late addition to this weekend’s visitor list, and was originally supposed to be at Ohio State this weekend. That has been cancelled and he will now visit Eugene, coming off of back-to-back visits with Alabama, and USC. The Bishop Gorman (Nev.) talent is the Nation’s No. 3 Safety according to On3, and a 5-Star prospect. With Oregon loading up their list of visitors for the first week of official visits, fans should expect some buzz out of this weekend.
Oregon will also be hosting 3-Star OL Jax Tanner, and 3-Star LB Hudson Dunn this weekend. Dunn is currently committed to Minnesota and last visited the Ducks on April 11th. The Liberty High (Ari.) talent took his official visit with the Gophers on May 30th. Jax Tanner is coming off of an official visit with Michigan, and now will visit Oregon, before visits in consecutive weekends with Tennessee, and BYU. Tanner will be taking a two-year mission trip for the Church of Jesus Christ, meaning he will arrive on campus in 2028.

Signal Caller News
Oregon continues to push for a 2026 Quarterback and have been in consistent contact with both 5-Star athlete Keisean Henderson, and 4-Star Luke Fahey. Fahey has schools like Indiana and Stanford at the top of his list, but Ohio State and potentially Oregon will be receiving official visits. Henderson is committed to Houston currently, but is being pursued by Oregon, Florida State, and Alabama. Henderson will take official visits to Florida State and Houston on June 9th, and June 12th, respectively.
In addition to these names that haven’t been as widely discussed, Oregon has made the top 4 for 4-Star QB Matt Ponatoski from Archbishop Moeller High (OH). Ponatoski is a two-sport athlete, who will also play baseball at his school of choice. The Ohio Gatorade Player of the Year in both Football and Baseball has a top 4 of Arkansas, Alabama, Kentucky, and Oregon. The 6’1 195-pound signal caller will visit Alabama June 6th-8th, and will visit Oregon June 20th-22nd.
